Window to my heart
It's the heart not the mind
that tells the right thing to do. I used to act on instinct and always
used my heart when I was younger and that’s when I was the happiest. As time
went on, I started to make decisions using my mind and that’s when I became a
slave to what people defined as the very ideals of righteousness. I have gotten
lost and stifled in the realm of objectivity and logical reasoning. Sometime
out of the blue, I question if I am missing on a lot of things in life because
I choose to follow my mind. I hope this does not turn out to be like an art; a
lifetime process. Art is long and life is short. I am aware that if I want to
live my life to the fullest, I have to…No, I am choosing my heart.
